The Calm Before the (Vacation) Storm

Well skiers and riders, vacation is right around the corner!  Conditions have been so good these past couple days, and with up to 5" of snow expected throughout the day today, it's only going to get better.  Let's face it, you weren't going to get any work done today anyway, so you should probably just go skiing!

Patrol dropped the final ropes yesterday, bringing us to 100% open!  That means you have your choice of 68 trails, 319 acres, and 22.8 miles of terrain to explore.  Our groomers are fixing up the sweetest corduroy on 41 trails, giving us the perfect surface to really lay out in those turns.  Of course we have left trails all bumped up, including some of my favorites like Wilfred's Gawm, Liftline, and Upper Kachina.  The Abenaki Quad has 3 natural trails off the top, so if that's your jam, I recommend taking that ride!  I found fresh lines in the woods yesterday, which means there is still plenty of untouched snow out there!  Do a little exploring, and remember to always take the path less traveled, (that's where the best snow is!)

We'll be starting off the day with 7 lifts from 9am-4pm, which will give you access to all of our terrain!  On the Attitash side you can hop on the Flying Yankee, Summit Triple, West Double Double, Learning Center Triple, or the Snowbelt.  Over at Bear Peak you have the choice of the Abenaki Quad or the Flying Bear!

The snow should start picking up around 10am, so think snowy thoughts and I'll see you on the slopes!

We have 3 Abenaki events this month! Join us on Saturday, 2/16, for our skier/boardercross in Kachina Park.  You can join us again in Mythmaker Park for our Big Air and Slopestyle Competitions on 2/23. These events are open to all ages, and you can grab all the info for both these events in the events calendar! Our park crew added some new features in Mythmaker Park! You can catch up with our park crew by following them @abenaki_parks!

Race training location TBD.

President's Week is coming up and we have a full calendar of events plus great deals on lift tickets. From Abenaki Parks to fireworks and an After Dark concert, check out the full line up.

Interested in learning to ski or snowboard? Maybe you know someone that is?  The Peak Discovery Program  is just $139 for 3 days of tickets, rentals, and lessons.
