Attitash Report

2/19 Flying Bear Update: Flying Bear will not be operating until further notice, including this upcoming holiday week, as we continue to work through the necessary inspections. Thank you for your continued patience.

Wednesday, February 19th, 6AM

Weather Report: Mostly sunny with a high near 19 degrees at the base and 13 degrees at the summit. Winds between 5-10mph with wind chills of –20 degrees.

Could it be? Is the sun finally back? Is the wind finally dying down? IT IS and it has Attitash glistening and less blustery more than ever on this beautiful blue day! Attention, skiing our trails may include the following: fun, epic rides down, more fun, and lifelong memories, so come on out with your extra layer and enjoy what our slopes have in store for you. We’ve got the gamut of trail options, from machine-groomed packed powder corduroy to untracked powder lines, tree skiing, and terrain parks. For terrain parks, check out Ptarmigans Mini Park on Attitash Peak and Arcade on Bear Peak. Our natural terrain keeps getting refreshed and better with each storm, just beware thin spots may develop, exposing natural hazards. Please note: Skiing/riding in closed terrain may result in pass suspension, this is for your and our staff’s safety. Thank you for respecting our closures.

Today we will be spinning the Flying Yankee, Mountaineer, Progression, Learning Center, Snowbelt, and Kachina from 8:30AM-4PM and the Abenaki from 8:30AM-3:30PM.

EVENTS: This coming Saturday, 2/22, get ready for the Cardboard Box Derby! To find out about all these events and more, visit the Attitash Events tab.

P.S. Please use our Pedestrian Tunnel when accessing Attitash Peak from the parking lots rather than crossing Route 302. This is for everyone’s safety and to ease traffic congestion. We do have complimentary shuttles as an option. Thank you!

What’s the skinny on our Uphill Policy?

Uphill Update: We are continuing to allow uphill travel and boot hiking from the top of the Abenaki Quad. The hike is up Kachina Falls to access Illusion, Avenger, and Morning Star during operating hours ONLY. These trails are ungroomed natural snow terrain. Wandering Skis will be CLOSED during operating hours for both uphill and downhill skiing and riding. We ask that you keep off closed trails for your safety and the safety of our staff. Attitash reserves the right to close uphill travel based on conditions, operations, or other hazards. Thank you for understanding.

Please refresh yourself on our Uphill Access Policy and keep up to date via our hotline: 603-374-2008. Now’s the time to earn those turns!
