Afternoon Update - Hey there skiers and riders.  Mother Nature will be throwing a bit of a temper tantrum, and we will be closed tomorrow, 1/24, while she does so.  We want to provide you guys with the best product possible, and our mountain ops crew can put out a better product if we remain off the snow tonight and tomorrow.  You know that if we controlled the weather everyday would be a powder day, but we've got a great base, and we are forecasted to get more snow later in the week.  Make sure you're staying tuned to the snow report and our social media for information.  Thank you guys for understanding, and we'll see you back on the slopes on Friday.

Hopping Over Hump Day

If your getting ready for work instead of gearing up for the mountain, you might want to reevaluate your situation. We're 100% open today with that hero snow that will make you feel like you should be the star of your own ski movie.  We've got a little something for everyone on the mountain today, and with comfortable temps, it's sure to be a sweet day on the slopes!

You can explore the entire mountain today on 68 trails, 319 acres, and 22.8 miles of terrain.  Let's start off with our groomers, who laid out that corduroy on 48 trails.  If you love ripping down the mountain, I suggest checking out their work on some top-to-bottom trails like Avenger and Wandering Skis.  This new snow has allowed us to leave 20 trails ungroomed, including Upper Ptarmigan to Middle Ptarmigan.  Those trails should be all bumped up, and I recommend sending them before we flatten them out.  We've also got some all natural trails like Wilfred's Gawm, Tim's Trauma, Ammo Pitch, and Upper Kachina.  Those trails have some pretty awesome coverage, so if you're feeling adventurous, head down for some super fun terrain.  The woods have been the place to be these last few days, so head in there for a little powder hunt.  The snow is so good that no matter which trail you point your tips down, it's sure to be a sweet run!

We're going to start off the day with 7 lifts from 9am - 4pm today.  You can catch a ride on the Flying Yankee, Summit Triple, East Double Double, Learning Center Triple, and the Snowbelt on the Attitash side.  Over at Bear Peak hop on the Flying Bear or the Abenaki Quad.

See you on the slopes,

All three of our parks are open with 24 total features between them. Get started at our Bear Bottom Park with 5 features for you to learn the ropes. Graduate up to our Mythmaker Park, with 19 features including a 3 jump line. Even if you don't like parks, Kachina Park features a boarder/skiercross course with berms and rollers for the whole family to enjoy! Follow the park crew @abenaki_parks for updates.

Illusion will be closed all day for racing events. This also limits access to Crawford Path and Hotel Way.

Interested in learning to ski or snowboard? Maybe you know someone that is? The Peak Discovery Program is just $139 for 3 days of tickets, rentals, and lessons.

Check out Events Calendar for more info on all of our events.
