Winter is alive here at Attitash Mountain Resort, and we are ready for an epic MLK Weekend. The plan is to push out 40+ acres of snowmaking piles this week, adding Counsilor's Run, Inside Out, Grandstand, Moonbeam, Reckoning, Thad's Choice, and Wandering Skis to our trail count for the weekend.
Our snowmakers are itching to get back on the hill. Temperatures are expected to dip down for optimal snowmaking conditions on Thursday, so we plan to fire up the guns on Avenger and White Horse.
Nothing gets us more excited than seeing snow in the forecast just in time for the weekend. We're looking at 4-8" of the natural stuff during the week, followed by Mother Nature's finest for the weekend. We could be looking at up to 12" of snow this Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to pack the fat skis for your long weekend.
Be sure to check out our daily Snow Report for the most up-to-date information on conditions, and we'll see you on the slopes.
