Afternoon Update @ 12:30pm - I was spot on this morning when I said the snow would be soft and the skiing would be fun ... because that is EXACTLY what's happening out there right now. For an extra afternoon bonus, the sun is burning away the morning clouds and it is looking like another 'goggle tan' afternoon. If you decided to take the morning off, grab your gear and Get At It this afternoon!

When you decide to call it a day, head on up to either Ptarmigan's Pub and catch The Dean Machine from 2-5pm or slide into The Den and tap your feet to Dave Haidaichuk while he keeps it cool from 2-4:30pm. Have a great afternoon out on the hill and I'll ski you out there!

Morning Update @ 8:20am - Our groomers went out this morning and touched up a handful of trails. Far Out, Inside Out, Upper Highway, Lower Cathedral and Upper Cathedral are now groomed and ready for you this morning.

Soft Snow, BIG AIR and Awesome Après!

Are you ready for some fun today? We have awesome events going down all day and with the soft snow, tons of open terrain, and deep snow pack, it will be a great day to Get At It! Go check out the athletes going BIG in the Abenaki Parks Big Air comp over at the Myth Maker terrain park, and once you've shredded up the soft snow all day long, stick around for the best après-ski scene in the Valley!

We are spinning 8 lifts today from 8:30am to 4pm with 5 turning at Attitash and 3 over on Bear Peak. The Abenaki Quad closes at 3:30pm.

We have 62 trails OPEN, across a total of 237 acres and 21 miles on two interconnected peaks, ready and waiting for you today. In the interest of snow quality we limited our grooming to the base area terrain. Conditions today will be soft all over the mountain and the skiing and riding will be a blast with spring-like snow surfaces. Check out Avenger over at Bear Peak, it has steeps, bumps and great cruising all packed into one top-to-bottom run!

I'll see you out on the hill! - Ian

All three parks are now open. The Abenaki Park on Kachina is our progression park with medium size jumps, rails and box elements. Myth Maker Park has the biggest elements and a jump line with 3 monster booters. The Bear Peak Base park is set up with the easy beginner elements.

The Abenaki Parks Big Air is today, Saturday, Feb. 25th, in the Myth Maker Park. Throw down and go BIG to win prizes and bragging rights today! Registration is from 8-10am in the Abenaki Base Camp located right next to the Bear Peak base lodge.

Free timed racing is open for all our guests in the Race Arena on Lower Spillway!

We have a great line-up of après events this afternoon with The Dean Machine playing live in Ptarmigan's Pub from 2-5pm. Dave Haidaichuk will keep it mellow and cool over at The Den from 2-4:30pm. Check out our events page for the complete schedule of après events throughout the entire President's Day vacation week.

You'll always save money by purchasing E-Tickets online, in advance - the earlier you buy, the more you save! Save even more with multi-day tickets!
