Attitash Mountain Resort is more than just a ski area; it is the essence of skiing, snowboarding, and winter lifestyle. Attitash Mountain Resort offers 67 trails across two big, connected mountains that combine traditional New England runs and challenging terrain with modern, wide-open cruisers suited for all abilities. There are also acres of glades and tree skiing and one of New Hampshire’s original progressive freestyle terrain parks. The Attitash Mountain Resort ski school is ready to teach fundamental techniques on accessible learning terrain or coach leading-edge tactics to help you or your family enjoy your active experience and winter passion. The Attitash Grand Summit Hotel is the only slopeside lodging available in the Mt. Washington Valley that offers upscale accommodations. Combine that with a popular après scene, fun events, and the new year-round Nor’Easter Mountain Coaster, and you’re enjoying winter among the White Mountains at Attitash Mountain Resort.
When Attitash opened in January 1965, it became known as the “red carpet ski area,” for its customer service and business philosophy of limiting lifts lines by limiting the number of tickets sold daily. In the mid-1990s, Attitash dramatically increased the available skiing & riding acreage by developing the Bear Peak area that included the installation of a high-speed summit quad chairlift as well as adding open glades, wider intermediate terrain, some of the state’s most sought after alpine race trails including Illusion, and the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel. Acquired by Peak Resorts in 2007, Attitash Mountain Resort has continued to make improvements and resort enhancements including state-of-the-art snowmaking and the Nor’Easter Mountain Coaster.
Located in the heart of the White Mountains, Attitash Mountain Resort is considered New Hampshire’s premier year-round vacation area. Attitash has been previously ranked amongst the East’s top ten ski resorts for snow, grooming, weather, dining, après ski, off-hill activities and family programs by readers of SKI Magazine.
Attitash Mountain Resort is operated by Peak Resorts, which also operates nearby sister resort Wildcat Mountain (joint lift tickets and season passes available in the winter), Crotched Mountain in Southern New Hampshire, Mount Snow in Vermont, as well as numerous other mountains in the Midwest U.S.

From summer thrills to breathtaking foliage views, Attitash Mountain Resort is a vacation destination for all seasons. We offer a variety of summer attractions, from North America’s longest Alpine Slide to the Nor’Easter Mountain Coaster, the longest in the Mt. Washington Valley. Enjoy the spectacular fall foliage here in the heart of the White Mountains and visit us on Columbus Day Weekend for the two-day Oktoberfest celebration at Bear Peak. - Terrain Parks: New for 2012/13 season, the new Abenaki Park located on Bear Peak and situated on Lower Myth Maker and Kachina trails will feature progressive features and jump lines that flow and are easy to get to from the Abenaki lift mid-station. Also look for Freeride Series Event set-ups to appear in season over on Lower Ptarmigan.

- Trees and backcountry areas beyond Ski Area Boundary are not maintained or patrolled by Attitash Mountain Resort.
- Trees are not opened, closed or marked and they may contain hazards
- Trees are recommended for EXPERTS ONLY.
- When you pass beyond the Ski Area Boundary, you leave the area of Ski Patrol Services. You are responsible for your own actions, your own rescue and the cost of your rescue.
