3rd Annual Thad Thorne Memorial Mountain RunJune 14, 2014
Long-time general manager of Attitash, Thad Thorne, put summer at Attitash on the map. Join us as we honor this Attitash legend with the 3rd annual memorial mountain run on the trails of Attitash. We had a good turnout for last year and hope to make this year even bigger and better. The course will have variable dirt and grass surfaces with hill climbs and descents spanning between Attitash and Bear Peak. This is a rain or shine event.
The trail run will start outside the Adventure Center next to Buddy Bears Playpool. Runners will continue to Stoney Brook and over to Bear Peak eventually looping back to Attitash. This race will be on ski area trails and you will need to wear proper footwear to run over loose rock and rough terrain. There will also be a Free Fun Run race option that will include obstacles to run around, over and under (must fill out registration and release form.) The fun run will start when all runners have finished the trail run.
Included in the entry fee will be a lunch ticket for all participants and one single ride ticket for the Alpine Slide. Beer and wine will be available for purchase in the Attitash Main Base Lodge. For more information contact Corey Madden at 603-374-2615 or email@example.com.
