Wildcat Snow Report

Trail Update: We've just opened up Humphrey's Ledge, the lower section of Myth Maker and Trillium ungroomed with manmade snow conditions. Recommended for Experts Only. Get out there and enjoy it!

Winter has officially arrived on this twenty-first of December. There’s no better way to celebrate the best season of them all than by getting out on the slopes. There’s just something about this season that’s magical. Summer living is warm and easy, winter takes a little more work but you can reap so many benefits from enjoying time in the cold. Dress right and Jack Frost will never nip at you. Winter brings snow and cruising down slopes, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing, snow angels and nights spent melting by the fire. Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean you have to be trapped inside, find ways to get outside and enjoy it. The best part of winter though, no bugs. Cheers to winter everyone!

Another cold snap has allowed us to light the guns up and we’ve got ungroomed skiing on Moat and Spillway along with new terrain such as Myth Maker, Trillium and Humphrey’s Ledge. It’s another Sunday Funday here so if you’re looking for just an afternoon out on the mountain, grab our half-day ticket for just $30!

Attitash is scheduled to operate from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with 7 lifts providing access to 118.5 acres of open terrain and 11.1 miles on 29 trails for skiing & riding. Conditions for today will be machine groomed loose granular with firm variable conditions on the ungroomed terrain. All of our terrain has been groomed overnight with the exception of a few trails that are ungroomed, manmade and recommended for experts only. Conditions are shaping up thanks to consistent cold and snowmaking will be opening new terrain as soon as possible. Both mountains are connected, use the Abenaki Quad to the mid-station for more skiing and less skating to the Bear Peak Base. Plus that chair is really comfortable! Shuttle service is available between Attitash and Bear Peak Base Lodges if you need a ride. Stop in the Adventure Center for everything you need to know about learning a snow sport at Attitash. Lessons are available for all ages and abilities; sign up today to develop new skills and have more fun on the slopes.

Today’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Highs will top out in the mid 20s along with light winds. Layer up and cover exposed skin if it becomes uncomfortable. Today shouldn’t be too cold, tomorrow looks to bring warmer temps with cloudy skies.
