Ski Pass Insurance through Travel Guard allows you to recoup the prorated cost of your pass if problems such as sickness, injuries or employment issues prevent you from enjoying a full season on the slopes.
Here are a few examples of when you would need Ski Pass Insurance*
- You get sick and are unable to use your pass
- You lose your job through no fault of your own after 1 year with the employer.
- You break your arm before ski season starts and cannot ski this season
- You are required to serve on jury duty and cannot use your pass temporarily

Ski Pass Cancellation and Interruption
Ski Pass Cancellation or Interruption covers the cost of your season pass if you are no longer able to use the pass for reasons such as sickness or injury to you, a family member, or traveling companion; primary residence or destination being made uninhabitable, being subpoenaed, required to serve on jury duty, job transfer, pregnancy or childbirth, and employer termination or layoff. This coverage offers reimbursement for the pro-rated cost of the unused portion of your ski pass, less any refund.
Pre-Existing Conditions Exclusion Waiver
If insurance is purchased within 14 days of purchase of the ski pass, the Pre-existing Medical Condition Exclusion will be waived. You must be medically able to travel when you pay your plan cost.
