When you stay at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel you are close to all sorts of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, climbing, golfing, horseback riding, playing, and – of course – skiing. But sometimes you just want to stay where you are. We understand perfectly and invite you to come on up to the Fitness and Massage Center.
Workout in the gym, spend some time in the steam room and sauna, or relax in our year-round outdoor pool and hot tubs. When it is time to relax or rejuvenate, make an appointment for one of our many massage treatments.
The Fitness Center is located on the first floor next to the Corner Store and Deli. To help keep you fit and ready to play during your stay with us we offer:

Free weights and strength training equipment
The gym is open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm and is accessed using your room key. Guests must be 16 years and older to use the gym equipment. For your safety, we do require appropriate gym clothes and sneakers.
Our steam and sauna rooms are located in the locker room area of the Fitness Center. The sauna is a traditional dry sauna. Both operate on automatic timers for your convenience. Hours are 6:00 am until 10:00 pm.
For safety reasons children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the steam room or sauna unless directly accompanied by a parent. Children’s core body temperatures can spike dangerously high in a very short amount of time, so please limit any time they do spend with you in either of these rooms.
Neither rain nor hail nor dark of night... will keep us out of the pool! Our pool and spas are open year round for your enjoyment. The pool and hot tubs are kept heated year-round. During the winter, use our indoor heated tunnel to slip into the pool without having to brave the elements in that skimpy suit. The pool depth is between 3 ½ and 4 ½ feet, perfect for kids and adults to enjoy.
There is no lifeguard on duty therefore children under the age of 14 must be directly supervised by an adult while in the pool area.
Pool Hours: 7am - 10pm (summer), 9am-9pm (winter).
We offer a variety of different massages depending on whether you want to relax or rejuvenate for the next day.
We offer three types of traditional massage, you decide which style and length best suits your needs:

Full Body Swedish Massage: Relaxing and soothing, paying special attention to areas of stress and tightness.
Deep Tissue Massage: A deeper, more invigorating massage that addresses tight and painful muscles using a variety of different techniques.
The Après Play Massage: Skied, hiked, or played ‘til you dropped? This revitalizing massage will get you back up and ready for the next day. We pay special attention to those tired feet and aching muscles.

Hot Stone Massage: A deeply relaxing deep tissue massage using hot stones to penetrate and release tension and pain.
Salt Glow: Massage and beauty treatment in one. Pure salts and oils are massaged into the skin. The salts open the pores and help draw out toxins while they buff away old, dull skin. The oils then soften and nourish. The result is an incredibly soft and glowing all-over complexion.
Sugar Glow: Another massage and beauty treatment in one. The sugar contains glycolic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid that helps exfoliate the skin. Essential oils hydrate the new skin, resulting in a new you.

These special massages use oils and creams specially formulated for the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel by Garden Dreams, a local woman-owned company that hand produces creams, oils, and soaps using organic ingredients, essential oils, and milk from her own goats.

The Garden Dream: A sensuous retreat to a garden full of flowers. Essential oils of cedarwood, jasmine, eucalyptus, patchouli, and fir needle help you to ground and balance.
The Alpine Garden: A stimulating and refreshing massage using frankincense, lemon, and peppermint essential oils to reinvigorate body and mind.
The Quiet Garden: A calming blend of lavender, rosewood, and clary sage essential oils to help still the mind and clear your thoughts.
The Secret Garden: Essential oils of bergamot, rose, sandalwood, and clove help you to relax and reconnect to cherished memories.
We request that appointments be made in advance although there may be a therapist available to do same day requests. Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time. All appointments end as scheduled so we don’t inconvenience the next client. You may cancel or change your appointment up to 6 hours prior to your session. After that time you will be charged 50% of the massage fee. Missed appointments will be charged 100% of the massage fee.
