Attitash and AbilityPLUS are proud to offer an adaptive ski program to families and individuals with disabilities ranging from Autism to amputees to spinal cord injuries. We offer full and half day lessons from mid-December through March that utilize both adaptive equipment and/or adaptive teaching techniques depending on the student.

Skiers with Developmental Disabilities may ski standing up, but with help from an instructor using tethers, skiers who have had a limb amputated may ski or snowboard. Skier without the use of their legs can use a mono ski to access the hill. You may ski or ride with or with out a prosthetic. We have a couple instructors who ski and snowboard this way and are enthusiastic about introducing people to the sport.
